Cell phone bill requires sound as photo is taken
A New York congressman has introduced a bill that would force U.S. phone manufacturers to program an audible tone that plays every time the cell phone's camera is used, in an effort to stem the voyeuristic tide of revealing, unauthorized photography.

Digital TV delay falters
The House on Wednesday defeated a bill to delay the nation's switch to all-digital television by four months. The action comes fewer than two days after the Senate unanimously passed a plan to postpone the Feb. 17 switch to June 12.
